BUILDING

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Our building is unique. With its red sandstone façade and three inspiring towers, the unusual profile of the church is visible from many vantage points in the city. Its imposing yet inviting structure manifests a sense of strength and permanence. It is here to stay. It is a place that matters.

 

Life at State Street is real life. There is never enough time. There is never enough money. Yet we continue. We meet needs to the best of our ability. We fix a roof, build a shelter, or repair a tower. We identify resources within our reach and ask for help when we need it. We make do. We sing. We pray. We worship. We persist.

CLOSET

We need more volunteers! The Clothes Closet operates September to June and provides clothing and small household goods to anyone in need. Clothes, kitchen supplies, linens, a friendly face and a kind word of encouragement. We are no-barrier & ALL are welcome.

 

Volunteers sort donations, greet neighbors seeking support, hang and display merchandise and transport any goods we can't use to other agencies who can. Contact: Eunice Bentley for more information and to volunteer.
