"A Brief History of Music at State Street Church"
Sunday Feb. 8th after the service
Presenter: John Williams
Location: Music Room
Along with sharing photos of past choirs and music directors, John will be recognizing the David Maxwell Library and Archives, a collection of the 250+ sacred pieces David composed during his long tenure as music director and other ephemera. The morning service will feature an anthem by Hermann Kotzschmar, music director in the last years of the 19th century, will be sung in historic manner.
